Former Bihar Chief Minister threatens Narendra Modi

Former chief Minister of Bihar and wife of Lalu Prasad Yadav, Rabri Devi has taken an aggressive stance against Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi. Rabri Devi was addressing a gathering yesterday, when she made some remarks.

In a video released by news agency ANI, the former Chief Minister of Bihar can be seen saying that many in Bihar are ready to slit PM’s throat and chop his hand.

She was responding to Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) Bihar president and MP Nityanand Rai’s statement in which he said that “all fingers and hands raised against the prime minister should be broken or chopped off.”

Rabri taking umbrage over this quip by the BJP MP said that some people are saying that those who raise their fingers at Narendra Modi then their fingers and hands will be cut off. I dare them to do so.

She further stressed that if a situation such as this one ever arises then the people of the country or the people of Bihar won’t remain mum.

Former Bihar Chief Minister then added that here there are many who want to chop Modi’s hand and slit his throat.

Interestingly, while the BJP MP had later backtracked from his comments and even said that his words were not understood in the right way, Rabri Devi has not made a similar assertion to kill the controversy.

Rabri also picked up a beef with the center and said that she will not be forced to “cow down” by the central investigating agencies as she knew their “character” well.

It is to be mentioned here that the former CM has skipped appearing before the Enforcement Directorate despite many summons in cases related to benami property.

She thundered that “let them send any number of notices. I am not going to get afraid. If they are so eager to interrogate me, then they should come to Patna and question me.”
