Iran flood: India lends a helping hand with 18 tonnes of relief aid

Iran flood has affected no less than 10 million people.

Iran’s population in 2019 is roughly standing at 82 million, and with 10 million people getting effected that’s more than 12 percent of the total population.

The total damage due to the unprecedented flood has caused damages to the tune of $2.5 billion while no less than 75 people lost their lives after torrential rains.

Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani accused the USA government of being vicious and inhuman for letting economic sanctions continue despite the tragedy of such magnitude.

In such a situation, India is lending a helping hand to a neighbor and friend.
