Subramanian Swamy is a happy man today after the Supreme Court today decided to list the Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid matter as soon as possible.

An ecstatic Swamy informed this on Twitter and wrote:

JAI SRI RAM!Today in CJI SC court I gave CJI a letter from SC allowing to join the Ram Temple case. CJI said: “Yes now we will list soon”

This ruling came in response to the petition of BJP leader Subramanian Swamy.
He also said that he now intended to “push push pull pull” till the Ram Temple construction starts on his (Lord Ram’s) birth place in Ayodhya. He also declared that the Supreme Court will be “our battlefield.”

Subramanian Swamy has emerged as a major voice for Hindu grievances.

He also wrote to the Governor of West Bengal, Keshari Nath Tripathi seeking the removal of a West Bengal Minister who he labelled as “anti-Hindu” and who, as per him, held a radical Islamic view and hence, was unfit for the post.
Mamata Banerjee was on the radar of opposition parties after she again landed herself in controversy due to the appointment of Bengal Urban Development Minister Firhad Hakim as the chairman of the newly formed Tarakeshwar Development Board (TDB) in the Hooghly district.

The BJP cried foul and branded it as the part of appeasement gimmick of Mamata as this appointment meant that the Muslim leader as the head of the board will also take care of the Tarakeshwar temple.

While others were talking Subramanian Swamy on June 19th openly declared that he would be taking the legal recourse and said:

I have already set up my legal eagle team for Bengal to challenge Mamata’s horrible temple appointment. Writ Petition will be filed.

On July 6th he sent this scathing letter to the West Bengal governor clearly spelling out his intention:

But it is the Ram Mandir issue that is likely to win him, even more, followers in coming days if things go his way.
