Subramanian Swamy had pointed to a glaring mistake in the Arnab Goswami’s proposed news channel ‘Republic’ and the mistake was in the name itself!
Now, the Managing Director and Editor-in-Chief of the proposed ‘Republic’ channel, Arnab Goswami has now said that the channel will be called ‘Republic TV’ and has written to the Under Secretary, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting for the same.

Earlier, In a letter to the Secretary, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, the BJP leader pointed out that certain names and emblems are prohibited from being used under the Emblems and names (Prevention of Improper Use) Act, 1950 for professional and commercial purposes.
