Greece and India to cooperate in commerce and technology

New Delhi, October 29, 2020: Greece and India are planning more cooperation in several fields.

External Affairs Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar held virtual consultations with Greek FM, Nikos Dendias on 29 October 2020.

Both leaders undertook a detailed review of bilateral ties, underpinned by long-standing historical and friendly relations as well as commonality of views on major international issues of the day.

The two Ministers welcomed the recent high-level exchanges and agreed to strengthen cooperation in all areas, especially in commerce, technology, and culture.

Both Ministers also discussed a wide range of regional and multilateral issues especially in the context of India’s upcoming membership of the UNSC.

Greece is an important partner for India and more cooperation is planned.
