Actor Diane Kruger has stood up for Quentin Tarantino on the chocking scene in the film Inglourious Basterds after actor Uma Thurman spoke out over her accident ordeal.
Uma Thurman had alleged that Tarantino had spit and chocked her for a scene in her film Kill Bill which came out n 2003.
Thurman also said that Tarantino forced her to drive an unsafe car for a stunt for the flick which eventually crashed and injured her. She also claimed that she was assaulted by Harvey Weinstein on which there are reports that he is considering legal action on the actor.
Tarantino has expressed sorrow and regret over the car accident. But Diane Kruger’s name has been mentioned in several reports for the chocking scene Inglourious Basterds. The actor took to social media and said that “in light of the recent allegations made by Uma Thurman against Harvey Weinstein and her terrifying work experience on “Kill Bill”, my name has been mentioned in numerous articles in regards to the choking scene in “Inglourious Basterds”.
She added that this is an important moment and that her heart goes out to Uma and anyone who has ever been the victim of sexual assault and abuse. I stand with you.
But Diane Kruger set the record straight and said that “for the record, however, I would like to say that my work experience with Quentin Tarantino was pure joy. He treated me with utter respect and never abused his power or forced me to do anything I wasn’t comfortable with. With love, D xoxo.”
In short, Diane Kruger does not want her name to be dragged in this at all.
