Diya Aur Baati Hum was a sure short hit show that aired from 2011- 2016 on Star Plus. IPS officer Sandhya a.k.a., Deepika Singh ruled our hearts as she battled out with illiteracy prevalent in her husband’s family and especially her mother-in-law Bhabho.
Deepika Singh not just fell in love with the feisty role but also with her show’s director, Rohit Raj Goyal and ended up becoming his wife in the year 2014. On May 20, 2017, Deepika gave birth to a baby boy who the proud parents named Soham.
