Mouni Roy, the original Naagin has given her thumbs up for Karishma Tanna and said:
This show (Naagin) is very close to my heart. All the very best Karishma and I know you are going to do exceedingly well and it is a show that has given me a lot and I am sure it would the same for the entire cast in this season.
Mouni Roy also said that you (Karishma Tanna) are very graceful, very tall and a very good actor and all my best wishes.

Yesterday Ekta Kapoor had shared the first look of Karishma Tanna as the Naagin following which the TV fans are ecstatic as their favourite show comes back with a bang.
Mouni Roy is busy doing some Bollywood projects and hence, Karishma Tanna was approached.
