One of the world’s richest royals, Prince Albert II of Monaco, is coming to India

Prince Albert II of Monaco, accompanied by a high level delegation, will be making his first official visit to New Delhi on 4-5 February 2019 and is due to land in some time.

During the visit, Prince Albert II of Monaco will call on the President Ram Nath Kovind and meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 5th February 2019, which will provide an opportunity to review bilateral relations between India and Monaco. External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj will also call on the Head of State.

Prince Albert II is expected to have an engagement in FICCI along with business leaders from Monaco. At this event, an MOU between FICCI and Monaco Economic Board is likely to be signed. Later, along with the leaders of his Foundation (FPA2), the visiting dignitary will participate in a conference on the theme “Energy and Climate” organised by The Energy and Resources Institutes of New Delhi (TERI).

At the conclusion of the official engagements, Prince Albert II would proceed on a private tour of India and depart from India on 10th February 2019.

His Godfather was the late Prince Louis de Polignac, and his Godmother was the late Queen Victoria-Eugénia of Spain.

Albert II had an estimated wealth of $1 billion in 2011, Forbes noted, making him one of the richest royals in the world.
