Saina Nehwal has donated a total of 6 lakhs; Rs 50, 000 each to the families of the 12 CRPF men who lost their lives in the line of duty. The 12 bravehearts were attacked by Maoists in Sukmaa leading to an outcry in India.

42-year old Chetan Cheeta is the Commanding Officer of the 45th battalion of CRPF and he sustained several injuries while fighting militants in Bandipora district of J&K. He had fractured hands, eye, and head injuries but despite the injuries on his body, the braveheart fired 16 rounds which led to the elimination of top Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) commander Abu Musaib which led to the weakening of the terrorist group.
