New York, June 21, 2016: Father Salim Khan apologised on behalf of his son Salman Khan for his remarks on being felt like a raped woman after fulfilling strenuous requirement that his role demanded in upcoming movie Sultan.

He made the statement in an interview and said that: “while shooting, during those six hours, there’d be so much of lifting and thrusting on the ground involved…when I used to walk out of that ring I felt like a raped woman… I could not take steps.”

Salman  reportedly also added in the same vein that he should not have drawn the analogy but those remarks were nor reported and people started showing their disagreement with the actor.

Now father Salim Khan has apologised for the remarks made by Salman Khan, 50, in a series of tweets:

Salim Khan has tried to douse the fire but perhaps it is time that Salman should start showing restraint and follow into the footsteps of his father who has been coming to his rescue more often than not.

With Salim Khan coming in the picture the controversy is sure to die out but it certainly raises questions over the judgement of Salman Khan.

Salman Khan is a widely loved actor and in the Guwahati molestation case he was the strongest voice for the girl who was being hounded for rape, that is why his remarks hurt the people even more.

The 50-year old Bollywood actor was also embroiled in a controversy over a song that was reportedly sung by Arijit Singh but was dropped from Sultan on the actor’s pressure. Arijit had apparently miffed Salman after he made some comments which were disliked by the actor.

Salman Khan also shares cold vibes with Vivek Oberoi over almost a decade old tiff over Aishwarya Rai.

The question is that the way Salman expects people to keep forgiving him, why doesn’t he also do the same?
