Four Pakistani prisoners released

Four Pakistani prisoners, who have completed their sentence and whose nationality has been confirmed by Pakistan authorities, were repatriated to Pakistan via Attari/Wagah yesterday.

India on their release said that it attaches high priority to addressing all humanitarian issues, including early release and repatriation of Indian fishermen and prisoners in Pakistan’s custody.

The government of India also informed that release of 370 Indian prisoners, including 363 fishermen, has been secured in 2017 till this date.
