Pamela Geller: ‘Trump is the last hope to preserve the US as a free society’

Pamela Geller interview, Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton, India, Hindus, UCLA, US Presidential election, Atlas Shrugs.com, Anjem Choudary,The Republican Party, Narain Kataria, Theodore Shoebat, Islam, Islamization of America

Pamela Geller has been vocal in her support for Donald Trump.

Attacked and given death threats for anti-Jihad views, yet Pamela Geller has remained unfazed. As Pamela Geller is a popular American face in India as well, therefore, we at Currentriggers.com reached out to her and interviewed her. The interview has been produced verbatim:

Pamela did you ever expect the Anjem Choudary verdict?

No. It seemed as if the UK government was giving him a free pass. I don’t know why that changed. But the verdict was richly deserved.

Just so you know, he also wanted a Shariah state in India but failed. Do you think that his sentencing is enough for other radical preachers to stop the hate business?

No. It was a slap on the wrist. It will do nothing to deter other jihad preachers in the UK and elsewhere.

Pamela you get a lot of death threats, Theodore Shoebat recently gave you one. Did it take you by surprise?

I expect hate and death threats from leftists and jihad sympathizers, but not from those who ostensibly oppose jihad terror.

Have you sought protection?

For obvious reasons, I do not disclose details of my security arrangements.

You also recently forgave the man who wanted to have you killed. Don’t you think that this is a risk?

I don’t know what you’re referring to. I never forgave anyone, and take seriously the fact that there are Muslims who want to kill me simply for exercising my freedom of speech.

You cover a lot of Hindu persecution as well, but the American media rarely takes up these cases especially from Pakistan and other such states. Why do you think that it does not want to cover them?

They don’t fit their narrative, which is that Muslims are always victims and non-Muslims are always those perpetrating hate crimes against them.

Milan Chatterjee a young and promising Hindu boy had to leave UCLA after the pro-Palestine groups went after him. Jewish groups stood by his side, but he had to leave the UCLA any ways. Why his case did not receive adequate attention in the mainstream American media?

Again, a non-Jewish supporter of Israel doesn’t fit their narrative.

How do you see the current violation of human rights of Muslims across the world? Many Muslims believe that Islamophobia is rising.

Violations of anyone’s human rights are unacceptable. The victimization of innocent Muslims is actually quite rare, and less common than incidents of anti-Semitism. “Islamophobia” is a propaganda term designed to intimidate people into thinking it wrong to oppose jihad terror.

Many Sikhs have become a target of hate attacks as well. What do you propose as the solution for such problems?

All non-Muslims, including Sikhs, have to stand together against jihad violence and Sharia supremacism. I featured Sikh speakers at several of my rallies in solidarity with them.

Pamela as a woman how do you see Donald Trump as the POTUS?

He could be our last hope to preserve the US as a free society.

And what is the general mood among the women with regards to his candidacy considering the recent controversy?

Women are being heavily propagandized to reject him on the basis of these claims, which are much less than what Bill Clinton has been accused of. It’s propagandistic manipulation of a heavy-handed sort.

You were supporting Ted Cruz earlier. Trump had even claimed that you taunted Muslim with the draw the prophet cartoon event. Should you be so vocal on your support considering his record?

Yes. Compared to Hillary Clinton, he looks like Abraham Lincoln.

How is your personal equation with Trump now?

I hope he wins the election.

Hindus recently received a lot of praise from Trump. But yet Angela Kaaihue like people are there. Do you believe that Trump as POTUS can stop people like Angela?

Yes. Trump’s position on Muslim immigration has nothing in common with the kind of hysteria she propagated.

Do you believe that this US Presidential election will be fair?

I believe there will be many attempts to commit voter fraud.

Many Hollywood personalities have spoken up in favor of bringing more refugees/migrants to US and Europe. Many are supporting Hillary Clinton as she is considered a liberal and is a woman. Do you think that their opinions will also affect the public mood? If yes, then to what extent?

I don’t think their opinions carry much weight in general. Maybe among 18- and 19-year-olds they are influential, but that is all.

In Kashmir, ISIS flags are routinely spotted. Has something similar ever came to your knowledge from the US or the Europe?

Yes. In fact, Sweden just declared that flying the ISIS flag was legal – which would be tantamount to the US saying in 1942 that flying the Nazi flag was legal.

Dalai Lama recently said that Europe should not become an Arab nation but many Europeans want to help migrants and refugees. How do you explain the difference of opinion between the two sides?

Because of the ubiquitous propaganda of the political and media elites, most Europeans have no idea what is at stake.

Are you aware that a lot of Indians also follow you?

Yes, I am grateful for them and stand in solidarity with them.

Any Indian whom you follow?

I was a great admirer of the late Narain Kataria, and of many others as well.

Any plans of coming to India in the near future Ms. Geller?

Not at the moment. I would love to come sometime in the future.
