The Hindu Temple in question is the Shree Ram Dhaam Hindu temple in Diego Martin and the incident allegedly took place between 3:00 am and 3.30 am on June 11.

The arsonists set fire to the pratimas of several Hindu deities in the Temple compound.

These arsonists jumped the wall and had armed bolt cutters and flammable liquid.

SWAHA Shree Ram Dhaam’s founder and spiritual leader, Manideo Persad, told that the incident had left him saddened as it seemed that the arsonists were aiming to burn the Temple down.
