Satna of Madhya Pradesh was in an uproar when a Catholic priest was arrested and 40 others were detained for alleged force conversion attempt. The priest was allegedly trying to sway people from Hinduism to Christianity reported the news agency ANI.

The news agency also reported that one of the locals who was being allegedly converted said that the Catholic priest told them to take holy dips in the pond and embrace Christianity.
Meanwhile, the Catholic priest and others who were detained by police have filed a complaint that their vehicles were set ablaze by Bajrang Dal workers.
