Donald Trump is on fire and he does not care what the world accuses him of or thinks that he is. Meryl Streep was the target of Trump today but first, let us see what Meryl Streep said about him at the Golden Globes.
So what exactly did Meryl Streep say about Donald Trump:
Actually, she said a lot!
She began with the rhetoric that Hollywood is crawling with outsiders and foreigners. She asked, where are their birth certificates?
Then she said that “if you kick them all out, you’ll have nothing to watch but football and mixed martial arts. And that is not the arts.”
Meryl then went after the President-elect and Trump’s alleged mimicking of a disabled New York Times reporter earlier last year and said:
“It kind of broke my heart when I saw it, and I can’t get it out of my head, because it wasn’t in a movie. It was real life. And this instinct, to humiliate, when it’s modeled by someone in the public platform, by someone powerful, it filters down into everybody’s life, because it kind of gives permission for other people to do the same thing.Disrespect invites disrespect. Violence incites violence. When the powerful use their position to bully others, we all lose,” she added. “We need the principled press to hold power to account, to call him on the carpet for every outrage.”
Taking to Twitter after Actor Meryl Streep chose to lecture him, Donald Trump attacked her by calling her over-rated and Hillary flunky. We are not sure if she would mind the Hillary flunky charge considering that many take the charge as a matter of pride. However, Donald Trump did say that he never attacked or mocked the disabled journalist.

Hillary flunky who lost big. For the 100th time, I never "mocked" a disabled reporter (would never do that) but simply showed him…….

"groveling" when he totally changed a 16 year old story that he had written in order to make me look bad. Just more very dishonest media!

But this video says that Meryl Streep was right even though the platform that she chose to attack Donald Trump was wrong:
