A Hindu student was forced to write an apology on an affidavit because he celebrated Holi in the university. In the affidavit, he promised that he will not celebrate Holi again.
This was done at the behest of Head of Mass Communication Department of Sindh University Jamshoro.
Activist Asad Chandio brought the issue to light and  was unforgiving on this act of the university:

This is the apology letter that was issued by the Hindu student Raja Deepak. Even his ID card was confiscated by the university as he played Holi by smearing colors on his friends, which is illegal in the university. Point to note is that this university has a Mosque but no other religious institution of other faiths exists here.

Sindhis are angry at this attack on secular thought in Pakistan:

While this has still made some lose their heads, in district Umerkot one more Hindu girl namely Hanjoo aged about 15 years was kidnapped by Ali Nawaz Sehito and converted to Islam. More details are being awaited on this case.
