Zee News editor Sudhir Chaudhary could be the victim of a grave political conspiracy. This is the angle that BJP leader Satish Upadhyay believes in and he has also said that this could be the result of an understanding between West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
In a tweet, Satish Upadhyay wrote that he has been told that FIR by Mamata against @Sudhirchaudhary has been lodged on behest of #Kejriwal to deter Zee news from exposing their nexus.

This may seem a little too far-fetched for those who don’t know the history of attacks from AAP on Zee News. Also, Sudhir Chaudhary himself termed it as an ‘interesting spin’ probably not wanting to become part of political slugfest but what probably would give him some hope is that some media outlets like the Navbharat Times did ask Mamata about the riots in her state to which she curtly replied ‘nothing happened there.’
He had earlier expressed his anguish over no one asking questions with regards to the riots in her state.
However, to her dismay more and more news outlets are now covering the riots which her administration first failed to control and then tried to hide by attacking Sudhir Chaudhary and other Zee News reporters who were boldly covering them.
But the big question is that where is the outrage over this blatant attack on media?
