Wonder Woman is coming to save the world!
But surprisingly she seems to be someone who is completely unrelatable for the audience like us what with wearing those tight clothes which focus more on her ample breasts and tiny waist than what she has in her eyes, i.e. her desire to save the world!
In India, we are used to seeing sexy glam dolls as saviors but even by standards of Bollywood, Wonder Woman seems clichéd and someone you just cannot connect to. This was not the case with either the Spiderman or the Batman where it was easy to connect with men who became superheroes while staying non-sexy every day guys on other days. But sadly this ain’t the case with this movie. Gal Gadot also seems to be too aloof which makes it difficult for a viewer to connect with her.
This movie comes from the Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Entertainment and describes itself as the epic action adventure starring Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Connie Nielsen and Robin Wright. The movie is directed by Patty Jenkins.
Who was Wonder Woman?
Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers…and her true destiny.
