Raghava Lawrence comes back as director of Laxmmi Bomb, praises Akshay Kumar

Two weeks ago, Director Raghava Lawrence opted out of Laxmmi Bomb, the Hindi adaptation of his superhit Tamil horror comedy, Kanchana starring Akshay Kumar. But on Saturday, he reclaimed his rightful director’s chair.

Laxmmi Bomb is a film produced by Akshay Kumar, Shabinaa Khan and Tusshar and it seems that Akshay Kumar convinced the director to not leave behind a project that was so dear to both of them.

Lawrence tweeted:

“As you wished I would like to let you know that I am back on board as a director of #LaxmmiBomb with @akshaykumar,” Raghava tweeted.

He also shared a note addressing his friends and fans and wrote:

‘As you wished, I would like to let you know that I am back on board as the director of Laxmmi Bomb. A big thank you to Akshay Kumar sir for understanding my feelings and sorting all issues.

Another thank you to my producer Shabinaa Khan for the same. Thanks to both for giving me respect.

I am really happy to be a part of the film with Akshay sir.

Thank you all’

Below is his tweet:

We are eagerly awaiting the new Akshay-Lawrence project to hit the cinemas.  Let’s hope that now no hitch will dampen the speed of this movie. Keeping fingers crossed!
