AR Rahman is one of India’s best know talent abroad and has earned laurels for the country with his terrific music compositions. Rahman’s stride abroad delights his fans because he has become an icon of sorts.
NAFS new band of AR Rahman has presented it’s the latest official music video “Ghanan Ghanan” for music lovers and needless to say that it is already widely popular. Here is a little peak:
But this is not all, AR Rahman is also composing music for the football legend Pelé! Pelé narrates the miraculous story of the legendary soccer player’s rise to glory from a young boy, to the 17-year old who scored the winning goal in Brazil’s first ever World Cup victory in 1958.
From a life full of disadvantages and an impoverished youth in Brazil, Pelé used his unorthodox yet authentic style of play and his unbeatable spirit to overcome all odds, find greatness and inspire a country that he changed forever.
Here is the smashing trailer of the movie:
Indeed, we love Pelé, but our interest has increased in this movie after knowing that our very own AR Rahman is part of this team. Considering that India is a huge market for overseas films and AR Rahman is such a big brand, this association will only endear the project to Indian film lovers further.
