Sickening gangrape scene leads to 2.5 lakh fine on Sun TV

Sun TV has gotten poorer by Rs. 2.5 lakhs.

Its show Kalyana Veed’s controversial episode where a woman explains in detail to four men as to how they must gangrape her sister has drawn ire of the
Broadcasting Content Complaints Council (BCCC).

Sun TV has been slapped with a fine of Rs. 2.5 lakh and they have been told to apologise before every episode for a week starting from September 23 to September 28, 2019.

The episode apparently aired between May 14and 15 and complaints by agitated viewers kept piling up against the gruesome description that had people cringing.
