Now, A Grand Temple dedicated to Goddess Sita to be built in Sri Lanka

A grand Temple dedicated to Goddess Sita, the wife of Lord Ram, is soon going to open in Sri Lanka. Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Kamal Nath discussed the Goddess Sita Temple with his Minister PC Sharma of the Department of Public Relations and Mahabauddhi Society President Banagala Upatisa.

The Chief Minister while discussing the idea also said that that to build the Temple swiftly, a committee consisting of Madhya Pradesh government and Sri Lankan authorities, as well as one member of the Mahabauddhi Society, need to come together.

CM Kamal Nath also said that this committee will finalize the design of the Temple and in the current fiscal year itself, the money will be allotted for the construction of a grand Goddess Sita Temple.

It is important to note that Sri Lanka and India share extensive ties due to the confluence of Hinduism and Buddhism in both countries.

CM Kamal Nath also stressed on an international level Buddhist Museum study and training center in Sanchi.
