Police dog Caesar who went under severe depression after the demise of another hero dog Tiger is now well.
Tiger was another hero dog who also participated in the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack investigations and he breathed his last this July and he was close to Caesar who was both his friend and colleague.
Today Caesar was discharged from the hospital and he is looking better.
Caesar was admitted to BSPCA (Bombay Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) on July 24.
During his stay, the hero dog was visited by his trainer and handler Santosh Bhogle from BDPS to cheer up Caesar. The police dog Caesar was on duty during the Taj Hotel Colaba siege of the 26/11 Mumba terror attack.
The loyalty and devotion towards his trainer was such, that despite arthritic pain when the hero dog heard Bhogle’s command he got up and followed. From that visit onwards, Caesar started getting better and better.
Here is the video of Caesar following his trainer who just came to pay him a visit and cheer him up.
Today the hero dog defeated depression just like he defeated many terrorist plans during his service to the nation. He is in the care of a dedicated animal lover Miss Fizzah Shah and he lives with many friends at the Fizzah Farms in Maharashtra. Here are his pics from the farm:
