Pekka Haavisto, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Finland, is paying an official visit to India from 04-07 November 2019. He will be accompanied by a high-level Business Delegation.
During the visit, Pekka Haavisto will hold bilateral talks with External Affairs Minister, Dr. S. Jaishankar on 06 November 2019.
The two Ministers had earlier met in Helsinki in September this year.
FM Haavisto will also meet the Finance Minister to discuss issues of mutual interest. He will visit Tamil Nadu for the inauguration of the KONE manufacturing unit.
The present visit would provide the two sides another opportunity to explore new areas of cooperation to further strengthen India-Finland relationship.
