Pak Hindu girl gets medical seat, says will serve India forever

Pak Hindu girl, Pakistani Hindus, Mashal Maheshwari, Sushma Swaraj, India, forced conversion

Pak Hindu girl Mashal Maheshwari has got admission in the Jaipur’s premier medical college after External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj stepped in.

Mashal Maheshwari got admission in the Sawai Man Singh Medical College of Jaipur. Mashal came to India due to religious persecution in Pakistan and was earlier getting a seat in Karnataka however, due to distance issues she requested that she be given admission in either Gujarat or Rajasthan. At present this Pak Hindu girl is living in Rajasthan.

Times of India has reported that the Pak Hindu girl has said that she would like to become a neurologist or cardiologist and serve India forever.

The good news does not end here either, even her parents who were once with the Pakistan’s Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences in Jamshori have got employed as medical consultants in a private hospital and are confident that they will get the Indian citizenship soon.

Mashal’s issue has stoked passions in India as the stories of persecution of Hindus in Pakistan are seeping in India leading to discontent and disillusionment with Pakistan.

In Pakistan, Hindu girls are often abducted while still babies or teens, then forced converted and married to older Muslim men. These girls rarely ever return or even see their family. Pak Hindus have routinely been subjected to discrimination in public life as well and many have been forced to migrate to India to save their girl children.
