Sunny Leone won’t participate in the New Year celebrations in the Bengaluru. The actor released a statement to the media where she said that since the police have publicly said that they will not be able to ensure wither her safety or that of the attendees, she and her team felt that the safety of the people should ‘always come first.’
Sunny Leone further stated that ‘I cannot attend.God bless & I wish everyone a safe & happy New Year!’
The actor also thanked those who stood by her and said:
To all those who protested and to all those who supported, always remember, never allow others to speak and choose for you.Have your own voice and make your own choices. You are the youth and you are the NEW INDIA! Stand Proud and Stand together. I love you all dearly!
Sunny Leone’s bash was under trouble as people opposed her entry in the state. The problem began when the members of the Karnataka Rakshana Vedike Yuva Sene protested on last Friday in front of the Manyata Tech Park against her performing at the bash. The protesters burnt her posters and called it an assault on Karnataka’s rich culture. They even, allegedly, threatened to commit mass suicide if the program is allowed.
