Tricolor doormats sold on Amazon Canada today drew the attention of External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj who told the Indian High Commission in Canada to take it up with the company at the highest level. She termed this sale as ‘unacceptable.’

Tricolor doormats anger Indians
An alert netizen, Atul Bhobe, told Sushma about the Indian flag doormats.He requested the EAM to take up the issue and requested for censuring the Amazon Canada for selling the Tricolor doormats. He also requested that Swaraj must ensure that the item is pulled down.

The netizens were shocked after seeing the Indian flag getting sold like this and many requested that the Amazon in India should be penalized for such acts done abroad.
Another netizen named Geeta told the fellow netizens that she was told that the product will be taken off but it seems the product is not taken off till now. It is to be seen what steps would be taken to ensure that the Tricolor doormats don’t make an appearance again.
In recent times, many e-commerce groups have come under fire from alert netizens.
