Bollywood actor and Zaira Wasim Khan’s co-star in the hit movie Dangal, Aamir Khan took to Facebook to say that he has read her statement and said that he will stand by her. He also asked people to leave her alone.
Aamir Khan wrote:
I have read Zaira’s statement, and I can understand and imagine what lead her to make that statement.
Zaira, I want you to know that we are all with you. The beauty is that bright, young, talented, hardworking, respectful, caring and courageous kids like you are a role model for kids not only in India, but across the world. You certainly are a role model for me! May god bless you. Love. Aamir.P.S. : I appeal to everyone to now leave her alone and respect the fact that she is just a 16 yr old girl trying her best to deal with life.
Zaira Wasim Khan is fighting vicious online abuse after she met Jammu and Kashmir Mehbooba Mufti. This is her original post in which she apologized for being projected as the role model for the youth in the state.

Javed Akhtar, Vivek Agnihotri and Madhur Bhandarkar and many others have already supported the young actor:
Vivek Agnihotri also said that last year when he was shooting with Yami Gautam and other Kashmiri girls in the valley, the local mob came armed to kill those girls. This is the reality of Kashmir.
Those who shout AZADI from the roof tops don't give an iota of AZADI to others .Poor Zaira Waseem had to apologies for her success Shame !!

Aamir Khan may have woken up a bit late though, the young artist had to face vitriol that would shame even the trolling of cricketers Mohammad Shami and Kaif.

Earlier, Sania Mirza was also under fire for her revealing sports attire which was branded un-Islamic by Muslim cleric Sajid Rashid during a TV show.
He even said that sports meant that women should not wear their burqas, then women should not take part in them.
