Wonder Woman is doing great at the Indian box office and its lead Gal Gadot is making headlines for her acting and sex appeal.
Wonder Woman has enchanted India and the Israeli beauty portraying the character, Gal Gadot, has emerged as one of the hot favorite Hollywood stars of the young Indians.
Wonder Woman is a sort of a prequel to DC Comics’ 2016 superhero film, Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice. It speaks of the Amazonian warrior princess Diana and her attempts to bring peace and justice in the world.
Not many know but Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot married an Israeli real estate developer Yaron Varsano on September 28, 2008. She is also a doting mom to two kids Alma Versano and Maya Versano. She has also served in the Israeli army.
With the success of Wonder Woman, 32-year-old Gadot is perhaps the biggest and the youngest star with a Jewish background around. She has represented Israel at the 2004 Miss Universe pageant after winning the title of Miss Israel at the age of 18.
Gal Gadot was pregnant during the shoot of the Wonder Woman and she gave birth to daughter Maya on 19 March 2017.
As Wonder Woman makes rapid strides at the Indian box office, Gal Gadot also took out some time to thank her fans worldwide and she also used the Hindi word ‘धन्यवाद’ to acknowledge the success and love she got at the Indian box office!
Surely, this little thank you note would make her Indian fans happy.
But all was not well for Wonder Woman before.
The UN was forced to drop Wonder Woman as the ambassador for empowering girls and women last year.
The reason?
The critics felt that the Wonder Woman was portrayed in an overtly sexual way and many also pointed that UN needed to get ‘real.’ The slogans like “Let’s Get Real’ were actually used by critics to show their contempt for the Wonder Woman.
