New Delhi, June 23, 2020: Every child loved the superhero Shaktimaan and his chemistry with friend-come-love interest Geeta Vishwas.
While the superhero was played by ace artist Mukesh Khanna, Geeta Vishwas was played by beautiful Kitu Gidwani initially.
The two seemed a perfect pair but soon she was replaced by Vaishnavi Mahant Macdonald.
There were many stories about Gidwani being replaced but Mukesh Khanna has confirmed in a video message that Kitu actually ‘dropped out’ of a shoot at a crucial time and was also suggesting to the team that it was too hectic to shoot for Shaktimaan. Mukesh Khanna also disclosed that Gidwani also had offers for French movies.
All in all, it seems from the video that there was no harm done because Shaktimaan made history anyways with it being India’s first superhero show that was highly popular.
