New Delhi, November 1, 2020: Recently Minister of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Prakash Javadekar shared a picture of a Yellow Flapshell turtle which was rescued from a Pond in Burdwan, West Bengal in October 2020.
It is a rarely occurring Flapshell turtle and it seemed to have caught the eyes of nearly everyone with its beautiful lemon-yellow hue.
The Minister explained to his followers that this is the second incident in the recent past when this color Flapshell Turtle has been found.
Before this, a Yellow Flapshell turtle was found in a village in Odisha’s Balasore district.
