Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s father Krishnaraj Rai is no more. He passed away in Mumbai earlier today after spending more than 2 weeks in the Lilavati Hospital.
He was in an intensive care unit earlier and also put on a ventilator.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan visited him regularly and his family stayed close to the ailing senior Rai.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan shared a close bond with her father. He was her moral support and encouraged her when she was in modeling.
He was also instrumental in helping Aishwarya when the industry shunned her after she opened up about physical violence that she bore from actor Salman Khan.
