Indian welfare abroad isn’t the only concern that is keeping Sushma Swaraj busy. These days Pakistanis too are using Twitter to reach out to the Indian government. A Pakistani man named Saeed Ayub being the most recent one getting heard by the Indian External Affairs Minister.
The man told Sushma Swaraj that he sold half of his assets for his father’s liver transplant in India but there is no Medical Visa for them. He complained that common man is suffering probably hinting at Indo-Pak ties which have deteriorated after the martyrdom of Indian soldiers and the Pakistani push for the hanging of Indian national Kulbhushan Jadhav.
He requested that at least Medical Visa should be provided but Sushma Swaraj replied that while she sympathizes with him yet it is actually up to his own countryman Sartaj Aziz who is supposed to recommend his case for a Medical Visa!
Besides Ayub, Love Kumar Rathi, a Pakistani national is also trying to get heard by Sushma Swaraj for treatment in India. Earlier, a Pakistani child also got Medical Visa after his family member reached out to the EAM on Twitter. After which Pakistan Medical Association demanded that India should provide more Medical Visas for Pakistani patients.
My sympathies are with you. We will give you the visa. Sartaj Aziz Sahib should recommend your case. https://t.co/ZZvQjafIGY
