While Anil Ambani led group moved against Abhishek, it is to be kept in mind that Rahul Gandhi had also said that self-interest of Prime Minister Narendra Modi was behind inking of the $8.7 billion Rafale deal.

Several business houses have now come under attack from different entities across India and many have been forced to take the legal route to get themselves heard. How the lawsuit against such a senior Congress leader will spell out has to be seen. Reliance is, however, keen on ensuring that it douses this fire as soon as it can as public opinion and perception is crucial for such big deals.

Congress leaders have not reacted to this news so far.
