A viral WhatsApp video shows a Hindu Temple named Ramapir situated in Malir, near Karachi Airport, Pakistan being soiled by faeces of sacrificial camels planted inside.

The animal feces can be seen clearly in the video. Date and time of the video are not clear. It is now being said that the camels were tied to save them from rain but since they were brought inside without the knowledge of the Hindu community, hence, the issue erupted.

Hindu Temples and graves have often been a target of hate crimes which could have been the reason of prompt online protest.

There are also reports that the sacrificial animals have been moved out of the Temple at the time of the report. However, it could not be confirmed till the completion of this report.

Currently, the Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) of Pakistan has started renovation work the only functional Kali Bari Mandir in Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) province. This is the first time in the history of Pakistan that such a step has been taken at an official level. Many Hindu Temples in Pakistan have been sold illegally or have turned into ruins or urinals. But an increased coverage of minority issues has made the difference in this regard.
