Britain, June 17, 2016: A British MP has been murdered by a man while she was in her constituency, reported BBC.
Jo Cox died after she was shot and stabbed.
Jo Cox, 41, is a Labour Party MP for Batley and Spen and the Daily Mail reports that she was also kicked by her attacker as she lay bleeding on the ground.
The attacker as per the Daily Mail also shouted ‘Britain First.’
A 52-year-old man has reportedly been arrested near the Market Street, Birstall as per the police officials.
Her murder has stunned the nation with party leaders cutting across the lines paying their tributes to the MP.
The late British MP Jo Cox in one of her tweets had written in favour of remaining in the EU.
On her Twitter handle she wrote:

Prime Minister of Britain, David Cameron, has paid his tribute to the MP calling her death a tragedy:
