Muslim girl Alisha Malik has been left hurt as her video of hugging many people in a Mall in Moradabad has been trashed by netizens on social media with many accusing her of bringing disrepute to Islam.
Alisha also runs a YouTube channel and wanted to create a milestone of hugging 100 people for it but the aftermath left her disheartened as people cropped those portions out in which she could have been seen also hugging young children and women. The video and pictures going viral on social media show her hugging many men.
She had said that she had the blessings of her family which found nothing wrong in her act but as the matter raged on she came out to give an explanation.
Today talking to news agency ANI, Alisha said:
I had no wrong intention. I hugged 100 people to wish them Eid Mubarak. I had not done it for publicity. My family is getting messages about how I have ruined the reputation of the family and religion. I don’t know how and why that video has gone viral.
