Recently she was accused of not honoring her commitment to a jeweler and that the actor did not return the jewelry of Rs 11 lakh which she had worn at an award function.
The Brand’s notice said that that one of the actor’s assistants picked up the baubles from her home, but misplaced it in transit.
Hina Khan took this really seriously, and like a pro, took it head on.
Taking to social media and answering the charge she said that since the issue started in public forum, ‘I am forced to share my response too but the right way.
My advocate from Supreme Court of India sent a legal notice with proper stamp and signature to them. So this is how a legal notice looks like, not like an unsigned unstamped fake notice created just for cheap publicity.
Hina Khan underlined that she is where she is due to her hard work and that no one could take advantage of her just because she is a celebrity. Hina said:
We really work hard to reach where we are and just because ‘a celeb’ is an easy target you will not get to use it to your benefit. The law works wonders for an innocent who is wrongly accused and it gets better if you have proper proofs. Attaching the courier receipt for my notice.
