West Bengal again saw communal clashes erupt after members of the minority community misbehaved with the women of Hindu community today on the day of Dussehra.
The information has been given by West Bengal Hindu leader Tapan Ghosh who said that there are communal clashes going on at the “Amra K’jon’ Durga puja pandal at Argori village.
This village is very near to Sankrail BDO office, near Andul under Sankrail Police Station in Howrah district.
According to Tapan Ghosh, the cause behind this clash was that the Hindus and the Puja Committee protested against the misbehaviour of a few men from the minority community.
RAF has been deployed to keep the situation in control. Police have picked up 5 boys of the majority community to keep the situation under control.
The situation is still tense.

Situation is under control and the Durgapuja immersion was held properly at about 12.30 am after the religious procession was escorted by the police.
