New York, March 25, 2016: Hindu community’s problem in Pakistan are increasing by the day as another case of forced conversion of minor Hindu girl has come to light. The case happened in District Umerkot, Sindh, where a minor Hindu girl, Madhori aged about 15 years, was first kidnapped by Haider Makrani and later converted.

The minor Hindu girl’s new name is Shabana. Here is the conversion document:

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the heir of Asif Ali Zardari and chairman of Pakistan People’s Party, was playing Holi with Hindus in Pakistan at Umerkot yesterday. Although he poses himself to champion the cause of minorities but most atrocities against minorities happen under his party’s rule in Sindh and he has remained silent on forced conversion of minor Hindu girls.

Hindus, Christians and Shias have become a point of target for forced conversion in Pakistan. It took Pakistan decades to even consider the demand of holiday on minority festivals such as Diwali, Holi and Easter.

Critics believe that since Pakistan is an Islamic nation and already has many holidays, therefore, more holidays should not be given but what they fail to highlight is that most of Pakistan’s holidays have been announced keeping in mind the majority Muslim population while minorities have been cornered completely.

Here are some gems that show the problem clearly; Fawad Hussain is a Supreme Court Lawyer-Political Commentator and a former Adviser to The Prime Minister of Pakistan and this is what he has to say:

Here is another one, Hamza Ali Abbasi is another moderate and he has issues with the word ‘secular’:

It is worrisome that while Pakistan never forgets to remind the world of the human rights of Muslims, it has failed to provide the same in its own country. While Pakistan compares itself with India in all sections, it overlooks the fact that Muslims have always enjoyed Islamic holidays in India even when their numbers were in single digit as has become the case of Hindus and other minorities in its backyard.
