Taro Kono, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan, is coming to India

Taro Kono, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan is coming to India (07-09 January 2019).

He is due to arrive at 5.55 PM on January 7th and meet with his counterpart Sushma Swaraj, Minister of External Affairs at Jawaharlal Nehru Bhawan.

He will then attend the meet of India Japan Friendship Forum at the hotel ‘The Lalit.’

Taro Kono will leave India on 9th January at about 1.50 PM.

The visit is expected to further strengthen the diplomatic ties.

India and Japan enjoy cosy relations.

Earlier, Japanese Navy Ship JMSDF (Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force) Samidare, commanded by Commander Gen Kawai was on a visit to Kochi from 20 – 22 Dec 18.

Indian PM Narendra Modi had recently visited Japan to attend the 13th India Japan Annual Summit where he had interacted with top business leaders from India and Japan at Business Leaders Forum.
