President of Vietnam to soon visit India

Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, Tran Dai Quang, President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Vietnam India relations

At the invitation of Prime Minister of India,  Narendra Modi, Tran Dai Quang, President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam will pay a State Visit to India from 2-4 March, 2018.

President Quang will be accompanied by Nguyen Thi Hien and an official delegation, including Ministers and party leaders, and also a business delegation.

During his visit, President Quang will meet the Indian President and hold official talks with Prime Minister. The Indian Speaker and External Affairs Minister will call on President Quang. President Quang will also have an interaction with prominent Indian businessmen.

President Quang will later also visit Bodh Gaya and it is hoped that the visit will further deepen Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between India and Vietnam.

India and Vietnam have close in recent times as the Chinese threat looms large in the South China Sea where violent clashes have taken place between China and Vietnam.In the troubling times, the country has put its hope on India and USA and gives importance to the relations. The visit is likely to cement the top-level ties and build confidence between the two nations.
