The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, will attend Ashara Mubaraka – Commemoration of the Martyrdom of Imam Husain, organized by the Dawoodi Bohra community, at Indore on September 14, 2018.
He will address the gathering. The event will include speeches by Dr Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin – spiritual head of the Dawoodi Bohra community, and the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh – Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
This is an interesting outreach as Prime Minister Modi has been accused of neglecting the Muslim community. With his presence at the Ashara Mubaraka – Commemoration of the Martyrdom of Imam Husain, he may finally be able to win over the community.
