Amrit Pal Singh ‘Amrit’

Amrit Pal Singh ‘Amrit’ is an urban  Sikh hermit. He writes and delivers talks on topics ranging from dharma, peace, human rights and universal brotherhood to the ancient history of India, Indian nationalism and Indian society.

Amrit’s parents and family were originally from the Hazara Division, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province, now in Pakistan. His family were forced to flee, alongside many others, to ‘azad’ (free) India in 1947 following the bloody massacre of Hindus and Sikhs during the partition.
